The 19-year old Ms. Bowman, who grew up picking and dancing in the musically rich environment of the Galax, VA and Mt. Airy, NC area, has a solid, nicely done record here, showing her talents on both clawhammer & Bluegrass banjo as well as guitar and bass. She is joined by a number of fine old-time and Bluegrass musicians including Ashby Frank (mandolin), Kirk Sutphin (banjo & fiddle), Doug Rorrer (guitar) and Johnny & Jeanette Williams.
