This was the follow-up to the Seldom Scene's groundbreaking first album(Rebel-1511, Act 1). In terms of song selection and over all production it's very close to their wonderful first release. It leans a bit more to the contmepory with songs like John Prine's PARADISE, Blake's fine LAST TRAIN FROM POOR VALLEY and Paul Craft's KEEP ME FROM BLOWING AWAY, as well as a good Starling original GARDENS & MEMORIES. Three traditional entries(I'VE LOST YOU, HOUSE OF GOLD and THE SWEETEST GIFT) are all killers too. A great album with Duffey, Starling, Auldridge, Gray & Ben Eldridge.
