DAVID PETERSON & 1946 'The Howling Blue Winds'
Type of Product: CD/Tape
Description
Traditionalist Peterson has another very enjoyable album of 12 hard core Bluegrass songs that he sings well, accompanied by some excellent musicians including Aubrey Haynie, Mike Compton, Mike Feagan, Stuart Duncan and Steve Huber. Feagan, Bobby Hicks & Shad Cobb provide triple fiddles on the title song. Mickey Boles plays a nice mandolin and does the tenor singing on most of the pieces. Strong stuff that any fan of older style Bluegrass will enjoy. RENO BOUND, WALL AROUND YOUR HEART, HAVE YOU COME TO SAY GOODBYE, FOGGY RIVER, MIDNIGHT TEARS, FREIGHT TRAIN BLUES, NEW PAIR OF GLASSES, DRUNKARD’S HELL, etc.
