DOYLE LAWSON 'I'll Wander Back Someday'

Description

|
Since establishing his wonderfully succesful solo career on Sugar Hill, Lawson's releases have alternated between hugely popular gospel albums and several albums of straight bluegrass in a more contemporary vein. This new release is a change of pace that should delight hard-core traditional fans, as well as Lawson's own loyal following(I'm sure there's a great deal of overlap there). Lawsom and his fine band pull out all the stops in giving a wonderfully spirited, tasteful & driving performance to 12 fine songs that are perfectly adapted to tough, trditional bluegrass treatment. Glen Duncan and Bobby Hicks help on fiddles on this solid, most welcome release. A real pleasure to hear! WHITE ROSE, TRUST EACH OTHER, OUT ON THE OCEAN, TOO LATE, OUR LAST GOODBYE, LET US TRAVEL ON, DREAMING, ONE WAY TRAIN, DEVIL'S LITTLE ANGEL.
