Yes, this 1980 album has been available on CD for some time, but a new artwork makeover and 24 bit mastering gives us a chance to mention it again for those young enough to have possibly missed it. As the notes state, it is one of the ESSENTIAL Bluegrass albums, even though it is not strictly Bluegrass. But it features two of the giants of the genre in an amazingly powerful & beautiful recreation of the music of the great brother duets. Listening to the wonderful, rich vocals of Tony Rice it is hard to believe & accept that he can sing no longer. The duets are stunning and the instrumental work (just mandolin & guitar) brilliant but always tasteful. An all-time gem of an album!
