This album has proved to be the best selling of the ten records that
Williams has recorded for the Rebel label over the past decade: a likely reason
for that is the unusually fine array of songs that are included here. In addition
to the much requested title song, other real standouts are I WENT DOWN A
BEGGAR AND CAME UP A MILLIONAIRE, COME AND DINE, THERE'S A
MIRACLE EVERYWHERE YOU GO (a fine Dixie and Tom T. Hall song), I'LL
BE YOUNG AGAIN, MY MOTHER'S BIBLE and WHAT A HOMECOMING
DAY. Since resuming his musical career after some years out of the music scene,
Paul has established himself as one of the two or three masters of the Bluegrass
gospel genre (along with Doyle Lawson, a good friend of Williams, and both
former members of Jimmy Martin's Sunny Mountain Boys. Lots of wonderful
music on this gem of a record. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!Â
