Born in 1900 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Bob Douglas was an important figure in
the world of old-time music in the 1920s and 30s and thereafter, hobnobbing and
playing (fiddle) with such old time luminaries as Clayton McMichen, A.A. Gray.,
Lowe Stokes, Arthur Smith and Jimmy McCarroll, among others. Though he did
not record under his own name until very late in his career, he did play fiddle on
some of the Allen Brothers records in old-time music's "golden Age" This 52-
minute DVD includes narratives as well as 14 tunes.
