This album was recorded on Memorial Day weekend in 1975 and it captures Ralph and his band along with a number of guests in a typical festival setting.Ralph, whose lead singer at the time was Keith Whitley, accounts for 6 of the 25 tracks and is joined on one of those by Bill Monroe(ON MY WAY BACK TO THE OLD HOME) and on another in which Jimmy Martin sings and plays mandolin(WHITE DOVE). There are two or three songs each by these other bands as well: Marshall Family, Larry Sparks, Country Gentlemen, Reno & Harrell, Goins Brothers, Sullivan Family, and the Outdoor Plumbing Company.
