Here is a much asked for re-issue of an album that is considered to be one the finest of Ralph Stanley's career. Recorded in 1971, it was in fact the first album Stanley cut for the Rebel label, a company that he is still with 30 years and over 30 albums later. Ralph's band at the time included some of the finest singers ever associated with the Clinch Mountain Boys, Roy Lee Centers, Ricky Skaggs and Keith Whitley, with Jack Cooke and the late Curly Ray Cline rounding out a supergroup. Available for the first time on compact disc, this new package contains a fine set of notes by Stanley expert Gary Reid, and a wonderful group of songs. This is a "must have" for any Stanley fan.
