For fans of progressive banjo, this is a well done instrumental workout featuring a lot of excellent picking by Brown and a number of top-notch pickers like Tony Rice, Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, Mike Marshall, Mark Schatz and Roy Husky Jr. All but one of the 10 tunes are Brown originals of varied tempo and moods, if not particularly memorable melodies.
