This album, the third of their seven classic releases on Rebel, is known as the home of their best known recording, the 5 1/2 minute tour-de-force "Rider". As an album it may rate slightly behind "Old Train" and "Act One" and their dynamite "Live At The Cellar Door" set; but it still contains excellent music and a few gems in MUDDY WATER, SING ME BACK HOME ANOTHER LONESOME DAY and John Duffey's wonderful vocals on LITTLE GEORGIA ROSE and HEAVEN. Another essential contempory Bluegrass album.
