With their excellent first album (Rounder-0403) and considerable touring, this 4-piece old-time band has garnered a lot of admirers and done quite a bit to bring some attention to the oldtime fiddle band tradition, and this well-played 16-cut follow up album should further add to their popularity and influence. There seem to be more vocals on this 2nd album, and these are not the group's strength, though they do provide a break from the instrumentals, which are mostly of similar tempos.
