A superb album ofbeautifully.played contemporary Bluegrass by this band of veterans who have combined forces to create a neat new combination. Auldridge, after a most impressive run as master dobro player with the Seldom Scene, then Chesapeake, brings a smooth & tasteful quality to all the material here, and Jimmy Gaudreau, veteran of many years with the Country Gentlemen and the Tony Rice Unit, among other groups, lends a distinct and mature flavor both vocally and instrumentally to the overall sound. Both these artists work well with the younger but stellar guitarist/vocalist Bennett. The songs & tunes they have selected all work well: some of the best are SILENCE & TEARS, BILLY GRAY, "SOUTHERN SON, COME & SIT BY THE RIVER, the title song and Kirn Fox's new LOVE REMAINS. Along with the more traditional.WE LIVE IN TWO DIFFERENT WORDS and YOU DIDN'T SAY GOODBYE. There's also a really lovely instrumental version of JUST A CLOSER WALK WITH THEE, A warm & polished, highly enjoyable album, well recommended.
