A warm, friendly treatment of 12 fine gospel songs by these two gentlemen, who get together for the first time on record. Both well known for their musical ability as well as their commitment to the gospel, they make a fine duet. Some of the highlights here are the unaccompanied HE WHISPERS SWEET PEACE TO ME, and two old style mandolin & guitar duets: WHERE WILL YOU BUILD and WILL YOU MEET ME OVER YONDER. Paul & Cliff are helped here by Billy Wheeler on banjo, Mike Auldridge on dobro, Pat White on fiddle, and Steve Spence on bass (with Sally Jones supplying lovely harmony vocals on 3 numbers as well). A very enjoyable addition to the Bluegrass gospel library. MY LORD GROWS SWEETER EACH DAY, FAR ABOVE THE STARRY SKY, I'M FOLLOWING THE ONE, ANOTHER MILE, RICHES WON'T HOLD ME, etc.
