Rounder president Ken Irwin has made an excellent selection of 21 gospel songs from the extensive ROUNDER catalog, which apart from just good listening, should serve to introduce the listener to some fine albums & artists he/she may not already be familiar with. Some of the great cuts here include YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO HOME by the fine new singer, Alicia Nugent, Blue Highway's SEVENTH ANGEL, the Johnson Mountain Boys HARBOR OF LOVE, I'LL NOT BE A STRANGER by Tim O'Brien & Ginny Hawker, and POWER IN THE BLOOD --an older track by the Weary Hearts (an interesting early group that included Chris Jones, Ron Block, Butch Baldassari & Mike Bub!)
