JEANIE SEELY 'Life's Highways'

JEANIE SEELY 'Life's Highways'

  • $13.50

Ms. Seely, a country singer best known for her work with Jack Greene as part of the Ernest Tubb Show in the 1960s and 70s has a new all-acoustic album here that may appeal to some of our readers. It’s not really Bluegrass—the songs and Seely’s singing are strictly country—but the backup is provided by top-notch Bluegrass musicians, making for an interesting, somewhat different musical experience. The musicians include Glen Duncan (fiddle), Jesse McReynolds (mandolin), Rob Ickes and Josh Graves (dobro) and the harmony vocals of Sharon & Cheryl White. IN THE GOOD OLD DAYS, FAST MOVIN’ TRAIN, THE RIVER, I’LL BE ALL SMILES, CALL OF KENTUCKY, IF IT AIN’T LOVE, etc.
