This enjoyable old-time band, appearing on Walt Koken's Mudthumper label, consists of Pete Peterson, Clare Milliner, Kellie Allen and Koken (ex-Highwoods String Band) himself. There are some twin fiddle tunes, lots of fiddle-banjo pieces and a few vocals in this energetic 21-track collection. Some very fine tunes include THREE THIN DIMES, LADY OF THE LAKE, SARAH ARMSTRONG'S TUNE and SWEET BUNDY. Fine and enjoyable home-made old-time music.
