For those who like good flat-picked guitar and like their music on the adventurous side, this is a good, well-produced album. Apart from CUCKOO'S NEST there is little in the way of recognizable tunes, but there is plenty of excellent instrumental work, and it is handled tastefully. Tice has the support of Ron Stewart (fiddle), Mike Mumford (banjo), Akira Otsuka (mandolin) and Mark Schatz on bass. Impressive work here from a very talented young guitarist.
