This quartet from Candler, NC has been known for its fine gospel singing for a score of years or more. They have generally leaned to acoustic and Bluegrass instrumentation for backing, and on this new disc they are accompanied nicely by Jeff Tolbert (banjo, fiddle), Randy Fox (bass) and David Johnson (fiddle, dobro, guitar). Most of the 10 songs here were written by guitarist Reagan Riddle. GOD'S MERCY & GRACE, THE JOY OF HEAVEN IS MINE, WE SHALL SLEEP BUT NOT FOREVER, etc.
