MARTY STUART AND HIS FABULOUS SUPERLATIVES 'Live At The Ryman'

MARTY STUART AND HIS FABULOUS SUPERLATIVES 'Live At The Ryman'

  • $15.00

In this energetic, well recorded show at the Ryman Auditorium Stuart touches all the bases, as far as his major influences & musical likes go: Bluegrass, blues, honky-tonk, rock and rockabilly. There’s not a whole lot of straight Bluegrass, but Stuart does present a solid version of Jimmy Martin’s HOMESICK and well played instrumentals in JOHN HENRY, SHUCKIN’ THE CORN, ORANGE BLOSSOM SPECIAL (featuring Stuart Duncan on fiddle) and TRAIN 45 (featuring Josh Graves, who also plays GREAT SPECKLED BIRD). Charlie Cushman does the banjo work on this disc that also features Stuart’s regular band members: Kenny Vaughan, Harry Stinson and Brian Glenn. An entertaining album from the talented Stuart.
