A quite pleasant 13-song album by this 4-member group that is in the mold of the famous Chuck Wagon Gang. Though there is nothing wrong with the voices, 2 male, 2 female, on most of the songs the group seems about two steps removed from the country, with two rather ordinary female voices lacking the style & personality that made Rose & Anna of the Chuck Wagon Gang so appealing. The bass singer is the strongest voice and the group is at its best on WHEN I WAKE UP, CHURCH IN THE WILDWOOD, A HEART THAT WILL NEVER BREAK and Terry Smith's already classic FAR SIDE BANKS OF JORDAN. Under the guidance of producer Sonny Osborne, the group gets a bit of help on a few numbers from Bobby Osborne on mandolin, Terry Eldredge on guitar, and Terry Smith on bass. COME ON TO ME, NEITHER DO I CONDEMN, SOMEONE TO CARE, etc.
