Ricky Skaggs has surrounded himself with some of the top pickers in acoustic music today, and it is a treat to hear Jim Mills (banjo), Cody Kilby (guitar) and Andy Leftwich (fiddle)(among others) do their thing. The playing here is flawless and the recorded sound superb. Certainly there are some stellar moments here, but few of the tunes (all original material) generate any real excitement, and the excursions into celtic based tunes are a fun change of pace. Surely many will marvel at the technique of these master musicians and really enjoy the disc.
