The notes to this new release say that this is the 7th CD by this band—some may now be out of print, as this is just the 4th that we have in stock. The group—led by Carl & Judie Pagter—has its own distinctive sound, combining elements of old-time, Bluegrass, and 1940s style country music. Judie Pagter plays autoharp and does much of the lead singing, Carl plays clawhammer banjo and sings, and Dick Smith is one of four other accompanists who all contribute to a nice full sound.
