Blaylock, who spent some time as guitarist with Rhonda Vincent's band, now fronts a good little group of his own that can play some tough, hard-edged Bluegrass, as this new album shows. What I really love here is that Blaylock has gone back and picked out some wonderful old songs that you just don't hear anymore, for example: TWO LONELY HEARTS, ROLL ON BLUES, GOODBYE, YOU'LL NEVER BE THE SAME, MOUNTAIN LAUREL, MY BLUE EYED DARLING, MY DARLING'S LAST GOODBYE, and a real obscure one, Cullen Galyean's LONELY RIVER. A fine album.
