On their 2nd record, this Asheville-based band has another successful helping of first-rate Bluegrass music that should appeal to both the traditional and contemporary fan. Good lead vocals are contributed by Tim Surrett, Caleb Smith and Buddy Melton, and Marc Pruett (banjo) and Darren Nicholson (mandolin) provide much of the excellent instrumental backing. A nice selection of songs include powerful versions of the traditional I'M LONESOME WITHOUT YOU and DOWN IN CAROLINE. Other highlights of a more contemporary nature are PLACE NO WREATH, SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN, SPRING WILL BRING FLOWERS the late Dottie Rambo's THE HOLY HILLS, and the title track. An excellent record by a group to be reckoned with.
