An excellent instrumental album by the teen aged Baker, who has already played with Karl Shiflett and is now a member of Michael Cleveland's fine Flamekeeper band. This well produced and attractively packaged record also features the following musicians, all of whom contribute superb backing: David McLaughlin (mandolin), Dudley Connell (guitar), Cleveland (fiddle) and Marshall Wilbourn (bass). Baker., who is most heavily influenced by Earl Scruggs and Don Reno, picks in a fine, straight ahead traditional style on a bunch of good tunes including SUWANEE RIVER HOEDOWN, BOSTON BOY, BANJO RIFF, etc.
