Del and his excellent band draw on a number of sources for this 14-song new album which features the top-flight singing and instrumental work that we have come to take for granted. At first play we thought that the songs were not as strong as on the bulk of his previous records, but some of them are starting to grow on us, especially Alan Johnston's SWEET APPALACHIA and Shawn Camp's BAD DAY FOR LOVE. Other cuts include DELMA BLUE, PRAIRIE WEDDING, WHITE PASS RAILROAD, etc. Solid traditional Bluegrass.
