This appears to be
the 4th CD for Ms. Ulisse, and it closely follows the pattern of the other three,
with all original material (by Donna and her husband Rick Stanley), as well as
production by Keith Sewell. Plus, it again features Scott Vestal's banjo and
mandolin and fiddle by Andy Leftwich. Ms. Ulisse has a good voice and the
songs are pleasant enough, though nothing here seems memorable. As noted in
our comments on her other albums, we would still love to hear either a standard
or two in the mix, or at least a few songs by other good contemporary writers (and
there are now a lot of them in the Bluegrass field).
