Any group with this sort of a lineup must be considered one of the very top bands in Bluegrass today, and that is certainly the case with the Boxcars, a group which includes Adam Steffey (mandolin), Ron Stewart (banjo or fiddle), John Bowman (fiddle or guitar), Keith Garrett (lead guitar) and Harold Nixon (bass). Apart from the old Flatt & Scruggs song I'VE LOST YOU, most of the songs here were written by members of the band --they are all well played and sung. This is an excellent group that can and will appeal to fans of both traditional and contemporary Bluegrass --let's hope they stay together!
