With his full current band (sons Ronnie & Rob, Jason Carter on fiddle, and Alan Bartram on bass) McCoury sounds as good as ever vocally on the 13 tracks that make up this album. Highlights are the usual array of "Blue" themed songs, (BLUES ROLLIN' IN, BIG BLUE RAINDROPS) which are probably the most successful cuts on the album (along with the title song). A great album released in 2013 balancing both traditional and modern minded bluegrass sounds. Great!
