This 4-member group from Sylva, N.C. was showcased on the TV series "America's Got Talent": they didn't win, but they definitely have a solid, well produced album here featuring a good mixture of original and recognizable songs --all nicely sung by the group's female lead singer Summer McMahan, who has an excellent voice. Ms. McMahan is also the primary song writer here with 5 of the songs. As is more and more prevalent in Bluegrass these days, the band appears mainly a family outfit, with the other members also McMahans --Brayden and Sam. Songs include LONG LONESOME ROAD, Buck Owens' MY HEART SKIPS A BEAT and from Flatt & Scruggs: DON'T GET ABOVE YOUR RAISIN'. A solid effort here.
