The usual solid & pleasant album of contemporary Bluegrass from this band from central Virginia led by Mike Andes. Half of the dozen songs were written by Andes, who plays mandolin and handles the vocals. Two songs that every Bluegrass fan should recognize are BRINGING MARY HOME and SIMON CRUTCHFIELD'S GRAVE, both nicely played and sung. Other songs are LEGEND OF LONG MOUNTAIN, TO LAY MY WEAPON DOWN, BUS FARE, LORD HEAR MY PLEA, DADDY MADE MOONSHINE, etc.
