This is about the 4th or 5th album from this great band from the Asheville, N.C. area. The group has maintained a very high standard in all of its recorded work, with great singing, good arrangements and for the most part excellent material. Fiddler Buddy Melton does the lion's share of the lead singing. He takes advantage of his superb, distinctive voice which makes every song on the CD a pleasure to listen to (seems like on this recording love troubles are the main theme). Balsam Range is supplied with good songs from the pen of Milan Miller --4 of the cuts here are Miller originals.
