It's been quite a while since we have seen and heard mandolinist Bobby Clark and banjo player Blake Williams on record. Williams, who played for well over 10 years with Bill Monroe and Lester Flatt, and Clark - a national mandolin champion who has appeared on records with Ricky Skaggs & Vince Gill among others - make a very strong return here with this very enjoyable & professional 10 song package. The other two members of the band - Wayne Southards and Kimberly Williams - supply most of the singing, which is excellent. Highlights are, Southard's LONELY I CAN'T STAND and Kimberly's lovely BLUE COATS ROAD and SHENANDOAH WALTZ. Guest Tim Crouch on fiddle fills out the sound on a very nicely done album.
